The film is a remake of Vijayshanthi’s super hit Vyjyanthi IPS. Bhavani (Sneha) is a tough and daring police officer who is posted as the ACP of the ‘lawless’ Tirunelveli town. The town is run by the politician goonda Sivalingam (Kotta Srinivasa Rao), who gives his son Ranjith (Aryan) a free hand. Bhavani decides to take on Sivalingam and carries a crackdown on his nefarious activities.
There is an ex-police constable Surya (Sampath) , who has his own axe to grind against the mafia. Meanwhile the father son duo kills Bhavani’s sister and plots her downfall, as Sivalingam wins an election and becomes the local MLA. How the disgraced Bhavani using her tact takes revenge on Sivalingam, forms the climax of the film.
